The event featured live programming across Z103.5 and AM530 CHLO with on-air personalities including Melanie, Tony Monaco, The Hammer, and Navi Sidhu, along with hosts from Punjabi Lehran. Programming highlighted survivor stories and groundbreaking research conducted at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Steve Merker, Vice-President of Corporate and Community Partnerships at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, noted the urgency of cancer support: "2 in 5 Canadians will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, and by 2050, it is projected that new cancer cases will surge globally by 77%."
The foundation emphasized that donations continue year-round to support research, clinical trials, and patient programs.
